Teams

At O'Diako you can also work in teams. Working in a team is a very low-threshold activity.
You can participate as little or as much as you want or have time for. Team members sign a team contract and are then added to the team's WhatsApp group.

We currently have an events team on all campuses (Helsinki, Oulu, Pori, Eastern Finland).

Goals of the events team:

To plan and organise events in their campus area and, where appropriate, to participate in joint events throughout Finland.
To learn about O'Diakon's principles for organizing events.
To organise events in cooperation with other partners.
Become familiar with O'Diakon as an organisation and be able to explain O'Diakon's member benefits in terms of events and product sales.

The member of the events team is committed to the organisation and planning of the event:

Adhere to O'Diakon's common guidelines and rules as a team member
To adhere to the principles of safe space
To adhere to the plan for the event
Maintain confidentiality of student or student body matters
Speak positively about O'Diakos, Diakos and individuals to students on the outside
Act in accordance with the team's and the plan's collective decisions

A team member may unilaterally terminate the contract and withdraw from the activity. The Student Government may terminate the contract if a team member fails to commit to abide by the rules of the Student Government or the College or is otherwise found to be unfit to perform the duties of the team. A team member who is terminated may not reapply for six (6) months.
